Testimonials from our Grantees
What Doth Life & Main Street Museum, producers of What Doth Rumble
Discovering a foundation that actively supports the unique and unconventional endeavors of What Doth Life and The Main Street Museum was a tremendous relief for the organizers of WHAT DOTH RUMBLE. This annual event, which showcases local musicians performing their original works, often struggles to attract traditional donors due to its genre-fluid nature—one moment you might hear country, the next punk, followed by strings and horns.
The Main Street Museum, a nonprofit venue, and What Doth Life, a grassroots music collective, are incredibly fortunate to have Audeville Society as a supporter who truly understands our mission. We are dedicated to nurturing non-mainstream artistry, recognizing the abundance of talent that thrives outside conventional channels. Our aim is to shine light on garage bands, emerging artists, and innovative art projects that might otherwise go unnoticed in the dark.
With your support for the WHAT DOTH RUMBLE DIY Music Fest and Workshops, Audeville has been instrumental in helping us achieve these goals. We believe in the inherent talent within all individuals, a passion we share deeply with the Audeville Society.
Keep it weird!.

Lady LaRouge, producer of Worcester Draglesque Festival
We, Lady LaRouge & Joey March, the co-producers of the first-ever Worcester Draglesque Festival, would like to express our deep gratitude and appreciation for Audeville Society. Not only for their generous support in the form of an artistic grant, but for their unwavering commitment to uplifting our project and the artists involved.
Audeville Society’s clear dedication to helping local artists of all backgrounds improve their craft is what encouraged us to apply for a grant. The application process was straightforward and thoughtful of the priorities they value; Artistic diversity, community reach, impactful engagement and more.
Audeville Society’s excitement about Worcester Draglesque Festival was an encouraging flame of community support that kept us focused and driven through the planning process. We are grateful for their positive energy in addition to the generous funds provided to make our event shine. Speaking of, our grant allowed us to pay our performers, educators, and crew -nearly all queer and all New England local artists- an above-industry-average rate, because artists deserve to be paid well for their time & talent.
Audeville Society’s financial support also helped us offer a tiered pricing structure, in addition to donating 4 pairs of community tickets, so patrons of all economic backgrounds could access this incredible showcase of local drag and burlesque talent!
Our event was a sold out smash success in large part due to Audeville Society’s sponsorship. We are thrilled to have celebrated this beautiful community, and hope to sustain more queer art in the Commonwealth and beyond with the buzz we generated at Worcester Draglesque Festival with the generous support of Audeville Society.

Delta Miles, producer of DIVA!
Audeville Society is a large part of how I got to where I am now as an entertainer and headliner in Provincetown, MA. Creating art is hard. It is even harder with the economy right now and living in a pretty remote resort town. Receiving grant money from Audeville Society has truly transformed my brand in remarkable ways. It has allowed me to collaborate with top-tier designers in wigs, costumes, and marketing, elevating the entire aesthetic for my shows. In turn, allowing us to make our performances more impactful. With access to better music production, I have been able to create more polished and professional performances, resonating more deeply with the audience. This holistic improvement has not only strengthened the DIVA brand but also expanded reach, allowing DIVA to connect with new fans and supporters who appreciate the enhanced quality of our work.
The grant money has also opened doors to incredible opportunities that were previously out of reach. With this ‘glow up,’ I have been able to travel DIVA to various locations to perform, broadening exposure and building a reputation on an international level. One of the most exciting opportunities has been securing a residency in Puerto Vallarta during their peak season, allowing me to showcase the talents and message of DIVA to a diverse and vibrant audience. Additionally, several major LGBTQIA+ businesses have approached me with invitations to perform at their events, and corporate sponsorships further solidifying DIVA and its presence in the community. These opportunities have been pivotal in my growth. I know I speak on behalf of the cast of DIVA when I say that we are immensely grateful for the invaluable support that has enabled us to take DIVA to new heights.
